Throughout the 1950's, 60's and 70's, John Tate, a talented amateur film maker, travelled the globe to all the major international motor racing events and captured on film a unique insight into the golden age of F1 when it was at its most challenging, heroic and sporting. All the drivers, many of whom knew Tate well, can be seen not just in action but also at private testing and relaxing away from the track. Stewart, Rindt and Fittapaldi are just some of the greats featured.
