BBC series aired between 1968-1970. Let loose in a monastery, Nimmo stars as Brother Dominic, a novice monk at Mountacres Priory, where he trod the thin line between acceptance and expulsion from his holy order. Regularly clumsy and likely to say a dozen words where one may have been necessary, he was frowned upon by some of his peers, particularly Father Matthew (Derek Francis), but supported by others, such as the kindly Father Anselm (Felix Aylmer).
