Savages Movie
The mudpeople are a tribe of primitives who, upon finding a croquet ball are led to a deserted Long Island estate. Once there they assume the stereotypical behaviour associated with the upper-classes, suddenly appearing civilized and dressed in the appropriate garments. Later they revert to their original state, returning to the woods. Part of the Merchant/Ivory collection.
