More recently remade under the title, 'Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, this is the story of a sophisticated gigolo (David Niven) who cons the rich women, based in the rich part of Southern France, out of their fortunes. His livelihood is threatened with the arrival of streetwise con-man (Marlon Brando). They arrange a wager to see who can win over the next woman, extracting $25, 000 from her, with the loser agreeing to leave.
