Disaster hits a building site when the final floorboard is used for firewood by the inept workmen and a replacement has to be collected from the local woodyard - the only problem is that the plank is bigger than the car they use to carry it back to the building site, so they must carry it back through the town. Chaos is complete when the plank develops a mind of its own!
