This drama depicts the lack of hope and direction of the post-punk generation. Daniel Roebuck murders his girlfriend and aided by his speed-freak mate, Crispin Glover, takes refuge with Dennis Hopper who symbolises the free-wheeling, pot-smoking 60's lost in a disillusioned world. A disturbing film which is an honest and complex portrait of modern youth.
