Letter To Three Wives, The Movie
Story about three married women who are tormented with the knowledge that one of their husbands has left them, in this high-calibre drama which remains a sharp study of suburban life. Jeanne Crain, Linda Darnell and Ann Sothern play three suburban wives who are brought together by a strange letter, which unexpectedly arrives one day from the resident siren, Addie Ross. In the letter, she informs the women that she's leaving town for good - and will be taking one of their husbands with her, but fails to reveal whose husband she is taking. As the women do some serious soul-searching for the rest of the day, they reach the depressing conclusion that any one of their men could have left with Ms. Ross.
