Starring Michael Pitt (The Dreamers), Lukas Haas and Asia Argento the film, though fictional, is inspired by the last days of Kurt Cobain. Blake (Michael Pitt) is an introspective artist whose success has left him in a lonely place, where livelihoods rest on his shoulders and old friends regularly tap him for money and favours. Last Days follows Blake through a handful of hours he spends in and near his wooded home, a fugitive from his own life. Many people are looking for Blake - his friends, managers and record label, even a private detective - but he does not want to be found.
