Hugh Grant Collection - Love Actually/ About A Boy/ Notting Hill Movie

Three films starring Hugh Grant. Love Actually - A film about love in all its varied forms and the relationships that exist between real people, whether they be parents, children, friends or lovers. A whole host of popular British actors are brought together, with a number of storylines, all leading up to Christmas. As the characters and plot lines develop, the stories begin to overlap and interrelate (sometimes with amusing consequences). No matter how painful the experience may become, the message seems to be, that all people need to feel love of some kind to fulfil the natural human need for companionship. Bill Nighy received the (c) BAFTA 2003 award for Actor In a Supporting Role. About A Boy - Some men just don't want to grow up - Will Freeman is one of them. At 36 Will is having trouble fitting into his life, but he's not worried. Independently wealthy, Will can't quite see the point of other peoples lives - jobs, babies etc. But Will knows that he does like women, especially pretty women. Will is very proud of himself when he comes up with the brilliant idea of how to meet single women - he pretends to be separated with a two year old son and starts attending single parent meetings. The plan is an instant success and Will discovers he's a natural with children. However, he soon meets Marcus, the son of a single parent, who has enough intelligence to see through Will's rouse and consequently bribes Will to let him hang out with him at his house. Marcus's mother is suicidally depressed, and Marcus uses Will as a route to escape from his problems at home. Marcus also feels that having a nice boyfriend would make his mother happy again, and he sees Will as the ideal man. Despite himself Will finds he is being drawn into messy human affairs that he is trying to avoid, and finds himself becoming more attached to Marcus than he ever thought possible... Notting Hill - Comedy with Julia Roberts as Anna Scott, the world's most famous movie star. Her picture is everywhere and she has no privacy. William Thacker, the owner of a travel bookstore, has problems of his own. His business is stagnant, he has the room-mate from hell and his love-life is completely non-existent. When Anna and William's paths cross, romance is the last thing on either of their minds.
