Eleven bus passengers are stranded in the heat of the African desert. They shelter from the heat in an abandoned town. As they await rescue, their chances of survival become less and less. In order to relieve their boredom, they decide to stage a play. However, their choice of King Lear only serves to plunge the group into turmoil as they struggle to stay alive.
