Don Diego Vega is summoned home to California from his elite training corp in Spain. When he arrives home he finds that his father, the Alcade, has been deposed and the people are living in tyranny. Disguised as Zorro, a brilliant swordsman dressed in black, he fights to restore his father to power and return the tax money stolen from the people.
