Everton - Season Review 2003/2004 Movie
The 2003-2004 season marked the celebration of Everton's 125th anniversary and as the Blues prepared themselves for yet another season, hopes were high on the success of the previous campaign. But all didn't quite go to plan and, with injuries and ill luck playing a part, a season of frustration and disappointment was endured. However, there were some positives to look back on: The 4-0 thumping of Leeds United, the late show against Aston Villa and the Good Friday win over Tottenham Hotspur. The consistent form of Nigel Martyn, the midfield displays of Kevin Kilbane, the defensive assurance of Joseph Yobo and nine more goals to add to the Wayne Rooney collection. The Blues gave Arsenal a scare at Goodison, held Chelsea at Stamford Bridge and were involved in one of the games of the season against Manchester United in February.
