US-PAAR is the story of Kamli and Mohan, the young lovers and their tempestuous romance. Mohan studies in a college in the city. He belongs to a small town where he returns on vacation. On one such holiday he visits the Mela and meets Kamli, a merry-go-round gypsy girl. Both are attracted towards each other and they fall in love. Kamli manages to meet Mohan, whenever he is free, across the river, down the sprawling greens, under the starry sky... Soon the time comes when the Mela has to pack up and Kamli has to go away. Mohan and Kamli decide to elope but Mohan is torn between his duty towards home and the love of Kamli. Will they finally run away?
