Idiots Movie
The controversial Lars von Trier directs this original and thought provoking film. It focuses on a group of people who challenge the principles of middle-class society, they go about this be releasing their ?inner idiot?. Karen, a lonely drifter, becomes unintentionally involved with the group after a chance meeting with them. After an initial reluctance she begins to participate in their subversive activities, finding solace and acceptance with ?the idiots?. As the idiocy spirals further some members leave the group, resulting in the remainders strengthening their resolve to live out their excessive feelings of curiosity, aggression and primitive sexuality.
