Directed by Oliver Stone and follows the fictional team the Miami Sharks through the last games of the season. Tensions are high, coach Tony D'Amato, aware that he is coming to the end of his career is determined to take the sharks to the play-offs. But first he must resolve his difficulties with new owner Christina Pagniacci, stop fame going to the new star quarterback's head, and halt a three game losing streak.
