Airport - Terminal Pack Movie

Four films. Airport (1970) - On the ground, manager Mel Bakersfeld (Lancaster) juggles lover Jean Seberg and wife Dana Wynter while coping with a blizzard, aided by mechanic George Kennedy (who returned in all three sequels). In the sky, Capt. Vern Dermerest (Martin) must maintain control of a 707 with his pregnant stewardess girlfriend (Jacqueline Bisset), a sly stowaway (Hayes), and a bomb-toting maniac (Van Heflin) aboard. Often imitated but never equalled, this box office hit was adapted by Academy Award winner George Seaton from the bestseller by Arthur Hailey. Airport 1975 - En route from Washington, D.C. to Los Angeles, Columbia Airlines Flight 409 is struck by a small plane, leaving its pilot, Capt. Stacy, blinded and its co-pilot dead. Can chief stewardess Nancy Pryor keep the giant aircraft aloft while her lover, former jet pilot Alan Murdock, is lowered by helicopter through the gaping hole in its nose? Airport '77 - A luxury private jetliner loaded with VIP's and priceless art treasures is hijacked and crash lands in the ocean, prompting a daring airborne rescue attempt. The Concorde: Airport '79 - Concorde comes under attack from the Buzzard Attack Missile, brainchild of Dr. Kevin Harrison (Robert Wagner) a brilliant scientist, when he is threatened with exposure having been discovered to be selling arms illegally for foreign companies. Cue: Alain Delon and more heroic flying action!
