Marc Almond shot to prominence in 1981 as the front man and face of the synth pop duo Soft Cell when 'Tainted Love' went to number one in the UK charts and became that year's best-selling single in the UK. He has become one of pop's most enduring and successful solo artists, with twenty-seven hit singles to his name, including 'Something's Gotten Hold Of My Heart' and his memorable version of the 60s cult classic 'The Days Of Pearly Spencer'. Filmed at The Lokerse Feesten in Belgium in August during Marc Almond's 2000 European Tour, the concert featured on this DVD opens with a selection of his recent work, including three songs from his critically acclaimed 1999 album, 'Open All Night'. These are followed by performances of his biggest hits from the Eighties and Nineties.
