The AMIS Gala took place at The Royal Albert Hall, London on 20th February, 1988 and was the culmination of a project conceived by Rolling Stone Bill Wyman some time earlier. Wyman created AMIS (Ambitions, Ideas, Motivation,Success) as a vehicle for discovering new artists and bands and to provide them with the opportunity of both playing before a much wider audience and with a multitude of established names. These new acts were chosen from throughout the U.K and Europe and invited to perform at the AMIS Gala. This DVD features each one of the superstar artists that appeared at this gala including Ian Dury, Ronnie Wood, Eddy Grant and many more..............
