Universally adored film and recording star Doris Day triumphed television comedy, rating number one in her timeslot with this light-hearted hit on CBS-TV from 1968-1973. The fourth year of THE DORIS DAY SHOW introduces a new boss, Cy Bennett (played by John Dehner), for Doris at Today's World magazine, and a new secretary friend, Jackie Parker (portrayed by Jackie Joseph). Peter Lawford also joins the cast as Doris' boyfriend, Dr. Peter Lawrence.
