Yvan is a struggling sports writer who is married to Charlotte, a very famous actress. Everywhere they go, their lives are interrupted by autograph hunters, it seems impossible to eat a meal in peace. There are advantages though, police let them off with warnings over traffic violations and restaurant reservations come with ease. Yvan manages to deal with it all until a man asks him if he ever gets jealous watching his wife make love to her co-star on screen. Feeling a little insecure, Yvan feels even more unsure when Charlotte goes to London to shoot a new film. Her co-star John, is between relationships and as her husband's jealousy becomes more apparent, Charlotte begins to doubt her marriage and grows closer to John.
