Eagle, The Movie
This story, based on the novel 'Dubrowsky' by Alexander Pushkin, follows the adventures of a Cossack lieutenant who becomes a masked outlaw when his father's land is confiscated. The battle between good and evil ensues with plenty of romance added for good measure. This film was made shortly before Valentino's death, the cause of which was rumoured to be 'arsenic revenge' by a scorned lover.
