The daughter of a British wine merchant makes the discovery of a lifetime while cataloguing wine in a Scottish castle. She discovers a 150 year-old bottle of wine from a legendary year, believed to have once belonged to Napoleon. When others find out about her discovery the race is on to save the bottle and preserve her future. A series of thrilling adventures follow, as does a budding relationship with another suitor to the bottle.
