Based on the hugely popular TV comedy series of the 1950's 'The Army Game', this big screen adaptation is set in the Arabian Desert. The discovery of a vast oil field under a small Arab country threatens to ignite a civil war. The King calls in a crack team of British troops to deal with the crisis. Unfortunately, he is sent seven troops belonging to the Army Surplus Stores.
